On Wednesday 28th June I will be attending the AWS Summit in London. I’ve been interested in AWS and what it can offer for a while now, and this should be a superb opportunity to learn more about the platform and services it offers, from the industry experts.
The full event page can be viewed here https://aws.amazon.com/summits/london/
Unfortunately due personal commitments I may miss much of the opening keynote, however, I will be there for a full complement of breakout sessions.
The ones I’m planning to attend are listed below. Amazon provides a mobile app which allows easy planning and up to date information. Just search for it in the Google Play or Apple App Stores.
11:50 to 12:40 – Creating your Virtual Data Centre – VPC Fundamentals
13:50 to 14:35 – Best Practices for Microsoft Architectures on AWS
15:00 to 15:45 – Using Microsoft Active Directory On-Premises and AWS Cloud Windows Workloads
15:55 to 16:40 – Life at AWS
17:00 to 18:00 – Networking
So, a day packed full of content, it should provide me with a solid foundation to grow my knowledge and experience in this fast moving field.
